Neurophysiology

Dr Ravi Urkude provides the delivery of high quality neurophysiology services. These tests can include: Electroencephalography (EEG), Visual Evoked Response (VER), EEG Telemetry, Sleep Deprived EEG, Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) / Electromyography (EMG), and Repetitive Nerve Stimulation. A referring doctor is required to make a referral for these services.

Parkinsons Disease
Parkinson’s Disease is a slowly progressive neurodegenerative disease that presents in different stages. All our doctors are highly knowledgeable in the various treatment and management options available.

Multiple Sclerosis
With many years’ experience and active research programmes in MS, our team are well placed to manage and treat this condition. Dr Mike Boggild and nurse Sharon Edwards have a special interest in MS, and provide evidence-based management for optimal outcomes.

Fast initial response is critical with stroke management, but ongoing treatment leads to faster rehabilitation. Our team is highly experienced in this area, with Dr Firas Al-Nidawi having advanced training in this specialty.

Headache and Migraine

Headaches and migraines can be debilitating, although various treatment options are available. All our doctors manage these disorders, and Dr Andrew Charmley, Dr Firas Al-Nidawi and Dr Linda Tjoa are able to provide botulinum toxin injections if necessary.

Myasthenia Gravis
Myasthenia Gravis is a rare neuromuscular disease causing weakness in the body’s voluntary muscles. Specialist management is required regarding medications and immunotherapies options. Dr Ravi Urkude has a special interest in managing this disease.
